My Crazy Dream

me and william were at his house, and things got carried away, and we ended up being intimate with eachother. he didn't have a condom, but i assured him that i was on the pill, unless he had an std we were fine in that department...

[>>fast-forward>>] (2 weeks later)robert me and william were in a car accident. robert was driving, william was in the back middle [right between the two seats] and i was in the front passenger seat. we got into a car accident, (we got hit from the front) and the force of the crash sent william flying between the front seats and almost through the windshield. the problem was that he was in fact wearing his seatbelt. it came unbuckled in the crash. the airbags deployed for me and robert and we were okay, we just had some little bumps. but william wasn't alright. he wasn't breathing. i got my cellphone and called 911. they got there, took us to the hospital, [turns out that i had broken my arm] and when they looked at william they took the time of death. (he was DOA) i broke down, i couldn't handle all of it.

[>>fast-forward>>] (3 weeks later)i start feeling nausious and sick, so i take off work for a few days, because i think i just have a cold. but when i'm out of work for a week, i decide to go to the drs. because something might be wrong. i go to the drs. with my mom, and they ask her to step out of the room because they want to speak with me alone. [at this point i'm so scared because i don't know what's wrong with me..] when my mom leaves, the dr tells me that i'm pregnant. it was a bittersweet feeling. joy because i made something so precious with someone that i love and sorrow because he's not going to be here to see the baby grow up. she tells me that i'm a month pregnant. i asked my mom to come back in the room so i could tell her something, and i explained everything to her. she was shocked and mad at first but on the car ride home, she understood. and said that we would talk more when we got home. we did a lot of talking, crying, and yelling. but in the end, we decided i would keep the baby. but we had to tell william's family, and the rest of my family.

[>>fast-forward>>] (5 days)i get together with Ralph and Robert and we have dinner together. i break down crying, and just blurt out that i'm pregnant with William's baby. at first, they were shocked, but they started crying after alittle while, they said that they were happy and right then and there..Robert vowed to take care of me and the baby. i eventually told the rest of my family, and they accepted it in time.

[>>fast-forward>>] (3 months)i'm 4 months pregnant. and everyone is asking me what it is..boy or girl. and honestly, i don't want to find out until i have the baby. so that's what i told people. i told them that i was going to have a babyshower, but after i have the baby, so people would know what to get.

[>>fast-forward>>] (1 month)i'm feeling really weak. and decide to go to the drs to see if everything is alright. so robert and my mom take me. all 3 of us are sitting in the room, and finally the dr comes in, she takes measurements of my belly and then gets the ultrasound machine ready. at this point i'm holding hands with my mom and robert. we look on the screen and i nearly faint. all i know is i saw 2 babies in there [and i saw them before the dr did] then she tells us, do twins run in the family? robert said yes. me and his father are twins. she says congratulations you're having twins Lani! she asked me if i wanted to know the sex of the babies and i don't want anyone else to know so i asked them to step out of the room. and then said okay you can tell me, she told me that i was having one of each..i was soo happy. she told me that the girl was to the left and the boy was to the right. on the ride home from the drs, my mom and robert were bugging me to tell them what the sex was. i told them that i wanted to go to kohls and i'll show them. so when we got there, i got a basket, and started putting girl clothes in..and boy clothes..and all i said was "see?" [their mouths dropped] and i walked back out of kohls and got in the car. they were running back to the car screaming..oh they were exstatic. when they got in the car, i made them promise they wouldn't tell anyone. even family...especially family.

[>>fast-forward>>] (4 months)i'm at the hospital i'm in labor, and the dr is asking me who i want in the delivery room and who i want to stay in the waiting room. i blurted out mom! you don't have any say in who comes in here! it's my baby!! so i calmly said 5 names one right after another, my mom, robert, cherie, corinne, and shaela. unfortunately, shaela didn't get there in time and she had to wait in the waiting room. but i had todd come in instead. i had the babies, without an epidural, or c-section. when everyone else came into the room Todd was holding Whitney Ann. and Robert was holding Todd Alan.

[>>fast-forward>>] (1 year)it's the twins first birthday. we're all a big happy family. we live in a nice house. it's me, Robert, and the twins. we live in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house. we have a big yard and we're going to have a big party in honor of the twins and their father.

as the babies were opening their presents. i woke up. so i wasn't able to see what they got..or how the party ended.
